In perfect conditions, considering the time of year, the Gents Club Championship final was played this afternoon between last year’s champion, Stevie King, and Andy Marshall.

In a high quality game it was all square at the turn, with both players level par. Andy took the lead at the 11th and, after a nerve-wracking last few holes, won on the 18th.

Congratulations Andy and well done Stevie for a terrific defence of your title.
