Ladies

Prestwick St Nicholas Ladies Golf Club, constituted in 1893 and inaugurated in 1894, was one of the oldest ladies golf clubs in the world.  Following the Equality Act 2010, the Ladies Club was incorporated with the gents to became one club – Prestwick St Nicholas Golf Club.

The Ladies Section has a healthy membership with 146 members, some of whom are social members who wish to enjoy the excellent facilities of the Clubhouse.

Around 60 of our ladies regularly compete in our weekly competitions, held on a Thursday, with specified tee times allocated throughout the morning and afternoon.  Alternate monthly medals are held on a Sunday afternoon.  We are very lucky to be able to play all year round on our wonderful Links course.

We are proud to host one of Ayrshire’s prestigious ladies golfing events in the Betty Singleton Trophy, an open foursomes competition held every year in July.  Our Ladies also play Prestwick St Cuthbert's Ladies annually for the Louise Crooks Trophy.

Our ladies are a very social group and organise several non-golfing events throughout the year when they are able to invite their friends and family to experience first-hand the exceptional hospitality at our Club.

A warm welcome awaits any lady who wishes to join our Club and the Ladies Section - details are on our Membership page.
