The event is called the Prestwick Links Golf Championship 2026, playing for the Nickson Trophy and Boyd Cup. Open to amateur golfers with a handicap of 12.0 or less, WHO LIVE IN PRESTWICK OR ARE MEMBERS OF A PRESTWICK GOLF CLUB.

Prizes & vouchers for winner and runner-up in both categories, along with prize vouchers for best qualifiers in each category.

Qualification over Prestwick St Nicholas and Prestwick St Cuthbert golf courses. 16 players to qualify for Scratch Matchplay over Prestwick GC. 8 players to qualify for Handicap Matchplay over Prestwick GC.
