Divot mix will be available at the first tee for repairing any divots as necessary.
Preferred Lies
When a player’s ball lies in a part of the general area cut to fairway height or less the player may take free relief once by placing the original ball or another ball in and playing it from this relief area.
Reference point: spot of original ball
Size of relief area from reference point: 6 inches
Must not be nearer the hole than the reference point
Must be in the general area
Ball may be cleaned
PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULE: Match play – Loss of hole; Stroke play – Two strokes.
Aeration Holes
In the General Area, a ball that comes to rest in or on an aeration hole may be lifted, without penalty, cleaned and dropped, as near as possible to the spot where it lay but not nearer the hole. On the putting green, a ball that comes to rest in or on an aeration hole may be placed at the nearest spot not nearer the hole that avoids the situation.
