Welcome to Prestwick St Nicholas Golf Club

OPEN DAY

We had a very successful Open Day on Sunday 27th July with many prospective new members attending.  The offers available on the day are still available to anyone wishing to join the club.  A 6 month temporary trial membership to any prospective members is available from 1st September.

Details of the offer are available by calling the Secretary's Office (01292 477608).

Any person who takes out Full Ordinary Membership before 31st August will have £200 added to their clubcard to spend on food and drink.  £135 will be added to any person who takes out Associate Membership.  Contact the Secretary's Office for details and questions.

A warm welcome awaits you at Prestwick St Nicholas Golf Club, a traditional Scottish links golf course established in 1851 and occupying a prime position on the shores of the Firth of Clyde on Scotland’s west coast.

The course and Club are steeped in history – indeed one of its founder members was Old Tom Morris who was based in Prestwick prior to returning east to St Andrews and his place in golfing legend.

Prestwick St Nicholas Clubhouse

The splendid clubhouse sits yards from the shoreline which is lapped by waters warmed by the Gulf Stream and the finely manicured course offers year round golf on a firm and generally frost-free footing.

The Club and its course are well regarded in Scottish golfing circles and, to reflect this, 2007 saw the Club host the Scotland v England (under 16) Boys International and the West of Scotland Ladies Inter-County Championship.

In 2008 St Nicholas was one of the three courses (the others being Kingsbarns and Dunbar) selected to host rounds in the inaugural Linksland Series Championship for Scottish Young Professionals.  2009 saw the Club acting as host to the finals of the Scottish Club Championship and, again, to one of the rounds of the Linksland Series Championship for Scottish Young Professionals.

9th tee and Arran

Testing your golfing skills on these fine links and enjoying our dining and bar facilities as the sun sets over the island of Arran with Ailsa Craig in the distance are experiences not to be missed.

The Club is keen to accommodate visitors and give them a day to remember. If you have any questions of any kind please use one of the options on the Contact Us page and the Secretary will be able to help.

We hope you find this website useful and, if you find what you are looking for here, please tell others – if you don’t, please tell us.
