Until such time as we receive guidance from the UK or Scottish Government to the contrary, the Golf Club will continue to operate normally ie the Clubhouse and course will remain open. Matters do seem to be changing rapidly however and this could change very quickly so please look out for further updates.
Importantly, if you are suffering flu-like symptoms we ask that you do not attend the Club and seek medical advice.
It would also be helpful if members would let the office know if you intend self-isolating for any reason.
We would like to remind all Club members to follow the NHS recommended personal hygiene advice: Avoid close contact with people suffering from acute respiratory infections:
Wash your hands frequently with soap and warm water to kill germs.
If you can’t wash your hands use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser gel.
Practice cough etiquette (i.e. maintain distance, cover coughs and sneezes with disposable tissues or clothing and wash hands) especially if you have symptoms of acute respiratory infection.
Always carry tissues with you and use them to catch your cough or sneeze.
Bin used tissues.
Committee will monitor the situation closely and take appropriate action to safeguard the interests of our members, staff and visitors.
For the time being it is the intention of Committee to meet at least weekly and more frequently should the need arise. For more information click : www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
